I took a new series of portraits today for a historical-role audition, full costume, period makeup, and natural light bringing it all together. There’s something grounding about stepping into another era with nothing but fabric, character, and the lens to guide you. No elaborate set, no entourage, just the weight of the story and the chance to embody someone from another time. I’m really hoping this role works out; it’s rich, complex, and something I’ve wanted to explore for years.
